Checks voltage on your portable generator or home outlets to avoid appliance damage from high or low voltage conditions. Indicates if high or low voltage is present. This Voltage Monitor plugs into any 120 volt receptacle on a portable generator OR wall outlet to provide a continuous, accurate reading of the AC Line Voltage. It can be left plugged in permanently because it acts as a night light! Includes receptacle on front –s o you don’t lose the use of the outlet. Can help you prevent costly repair bills by warning against low/high voltage conditions (ideal for brownout areas). The green zone indicates proper line voltage (110-125 volts). If the meter reads in either red zone, then sensitive equipment, appliances, motors, air conditioners and hi-fi equipment should be turned off to prevent damage.
